In Memory of Zeke!
Hello club members and friends, I regret to inform you that our past
president Charlie "Zeke" Zimmermann has passed away earlier this week.
As
most of you are aware, Zeke was one of biggest supporters of the New Orleans
Personal Computer Club. In addition to serving multiple positions on the
NOPC Board Of Directors over the past few years, he has donated many hours
of his time and computer equipment for the benefit of NOPC and its members
(including myself). He was the member who started our New Users SIG about
two years ago which to this day continues to be one of the most active and
well attended SIGs that NOPC runs. Zeke had a wonderful dynamic personality
which continues to be missed at NOPC functions.
